“By knowing that one principle which fills the universe, you know all the universe.”
“What principal is that sir?”
“It is the principal of pure existence. It is the essence of that one primal being, who at the very beginning, formed the universe, filled it with himself, and entered into every creature. That One alone is the essence of all, the soul of the world, the eternal truth, the Supreme Self; and, O Svetaketu, you are that!”
“Please sir, instruct me further.”
“So be it, my son. Look at these rivers: some flow toward the east, others toward the west, but all come from the sea and all return to the sea. … and when they merge into the sea they no longer think, ‘I am this river, I am that river.’ In the same way, all creatures in this world have come from Pure Being, yet, do not know it.”

Sometimes People confuse nature with the world. Holy words say that the world of Humans is evil. Does this mean that nature is evil too? if nature is evil then why did the Unnamed Other say that it is good? Perhaps we should re-listen to the scriptures and eat what it really trying to say.
What kink of world do we live in? Is it as simple as it seems? Or is the world that we live both simple and complex? Is it a world that is plural, not singular; leveled many layers deep? I know of at least three worlds that I live in, all at the same time. One of them I desire to live in more than any other, but cannot. How many do you live in?
Do we live in a world that is dead? Then why do we treat it with less respect? What if the world were alive? What would we think? What would we do? Would we think twice before pouring poison on the ground? Would you think twice?
When I look outside, I see a living world. Silvery energy fields are moving constantly. When I look out in nature I see a breathing world, alive with the breath of life. This planed is not dead! The plants. The animals. The sky. The water. The ground. All these things are alive; filled with the spirit of life. Should we think twice before pouring poison on the ground?! Should we think twice?
My father, I never see, I have not seen him since the day before I was born. My mother, I know, I see her every day. She gives my feet support and a place to lay my head at night. She feeds me, gives me clothes, water to drink and air to breath. I thank you for the life that you give, thank you for the life you support, thank you Mother. Thank you.
It would be nice if all Humanity thanked her too. Instead they rape her flesh, push it around, pave it over and pound it flat. They fill her lungs with toxic fumes and bury poison deep inside her womb. They dump garbage into her big beautiful eyes. They’ve shaved her once magnificent mane, leaving her patchy and bald. Many more things they have done. All for what? Just useless things like these: Money. Automobiles. Toothpicks. TV’s. And great, great piles of Junk! Perhaps when she is old and ugly, scarred and almost dead, we will realize that we need her too, to live. I’m sorry for these things that we do. I am sorry.
“What about dominion,” they all screamed!! It says right here in this BOOK that we have the right to do with this world as we please! Is this what dominion really means? To do as you please? Jesus says, “The kings of the Gentiles lord it over them; and those who exercise authority over them call themselves benefactors. But! You are not to be like that. Instead, the greatest among you should be like the youngest and the one who rules like the one who serves” (Luke 22:25-26). In order to rule over someone you must first be the lesser. You must be like a poor indentured soul who serves the rich. When the human rules over a person or a thing, they exercise no sense of responsibility or remorse for (if they damage or destroy) that person or thing. What would it be like if the Un-Named Other ruled over us, in exactly the same way we rule over the environment and each other? Perhaps we should re-listen to holy words before we spray poison on a weed or squash a bug.
Wake up people. Wake up! Is it not the right time to live with, to serve our environment in harmony instead of living against it in constant warfare? Isn’t it time to stop this senseless lust for material things that clot our minds against what is really REAL. Isn’t it time to show some responsibility for the people and things we rule over? Isn’t it time to stop dying and start living before we destroy any chance for others to experience this life too?
Think about this!
Think about this…
